Transmission

Masuma transmission parts are the most heavily loaded units that transmit torque to the wheels. We pay special attention to testing these components.

Masuma Hub Assemblies are the best way to solve the problem of humming wheel bearings. Replacing the assembly allows you not to think about the quality of service press fitting because all the parts are factory-assembled and have minimal tolerances. At the same time the cost of Masuma hub is relatively similar to the cost of a bearing and replacement works.

Bronze Hub Bushings are required to connect engine and wheels. They meet the most strict off-road requirements. They are shock-resistant, provide reliable support for steering knuckle garnet and protect steel components from wear.

Masuma CV Joints (Constant Velocity Joints) evenly transmits torque with no noises or vibration. All metal components of the joint, from body to internal shafts, undergo mandatory hardening followed by tempering, which makes the metal highly strong. Assembly of CV Joint internal components is fully automated, which guarantees strict alignment of moving parts and adherence with smallest tolerances. All Masuma joints have a robust boot, clamp and special grease, so that you do not have to buy them separately.

Masuma Clutch Discs are rated for 10 million actuation cycles. The main feature of their durable elliptical-wound linings is making rivet holes at baking stage in special molds. Notches on the surface contribute to better self-cleaning of the disc from wear debris and a smoother adhesion of the clutch.

Masuma U-Joints (Universal Joints) are designed for driveshafts and steering gears. All U-Joints are hardened in a thermal oven for 36–40 hours, after which the hardness and geometry of samples from each batch are tested. Most of Masuma U-Joints have a grease gun that allows you to periodically lubricate the moving part of the component thus significantly increasing its lifespan.

Masuma Grease Fittings can be purchased separately to replace damaged original parts or to add them into a maintenance-free unit during its repair or modification.
