Grease fittings are metal items intended for adding grease under pressure. Solid lubricants are usually used as the grease. They have the form of thick mass, made by thickening oils. As the result of its thickness and integrity of many parts, the grease can't just be poured into or smeared onto the mechanical elements. Because of this, a special way of grease injection into a part exists. A special metal pressure gun is filled with thick grease, which is delivered into by a gun plunger force through a grease nipple, fitted into the gun.
