Masuma InterLock flex pipes feature a tightly wound inner sleeve made from interlocking steel strips, combined with a braided outer mesh. This construction delivers excellent durability and vibration resistance, making it the OEM-standard choice for most factory exhaust systems.
Due to the rigid inner core, InterLock flex pipes require precise alignment during installation and are best suited for systems that maintain factory geometry. They provide superior strength under load and are ideal for high-performance or heavy-duty applications.
Masuma flex pipes are manufactured using AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel, which contains 9–10% nickel for excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand short-term exposure to temperatures up to 800 °C. The end rings are made of AISI 409 ferritic stainless steel, known for its heat resistance and stability in gas-rich combustion environments. All parts are weldable using standard methods.
