Masuma has expanded its range of automotive parts with universal bearings.
Universal bearings are widely used in belt idler pulleys, engine auxiliary components, and other vehicle assemblies. The ability to replace a worn bearing without changing the entire component significantly improves serviceability and helps reduce repair costs.
Currently, the Masuma range includes four types of single-row radial ball bearings: 6201, 6301, 6302, and 608. Their dimensions are listed in the table below.
| Part number | Inner diameter, mm | Outer diameter, mm | Width, mm |
| BR-6201-2RS | 12 | 32 | 10 |
| BR-6301-2RS | 12 | 37 | 12 |
| BR-6302-2RS | 15 | 42 | 13 |
| BR-608-2RS | 8 | 22 | 7 |
Key features of Masuma universal bearings
- All bearings are manufactured in 2RS configuration, meaning they are sealed on both sides with NBR rubber seals. These seals protect the bearing from dust, dirt, and moisture while reliably retaining factory-applied grease inside.
- The bearing balls and races are made of high-carbon chromium steel GCr15, known for its high hardness, strength, and excellent wear resistance.
