Masuma motor oil is the most anticipated innovation in the brand's lineup this year.
The majority of the motor oil range use additive packages from the Afton Chemical Corporation, some products use additives from Lubrizol and Infineum. All Masuma oils include molybdenum as an effective friction modifier.
Masuma oils are divided into 4 product lines:
M1 – Fully synthetic motor oil based on PAO;
M2 – Synthetic motor oil based on VHVI or HC synthesis (hydrocracking);
M3 – Semi-synthetic motor oil with a blended base: group II mineral base oil and hydrocracking components;
D2 – Synthetic motor oil based on VHVI or HC synthesis (hydrocracking) designed for diesel engines.
MASUMA M1 LINE
Fully synthetic motor oil based on PAO (polyalphaolefin) and esters. The synthetic base provides outstanding lubricating and cleaning properties, fluidity at extremely low temperatures, easy start-up, and reliable engine protection.
The M1 line includes:
- Full-SAPS oil 0W-40, API SN+/CF, ACEA A3/B4 for heavy-duty engines.
- Resource conserving oil 0W-30, API SP, ACEA C2, compatible with particulate filters (DPF) and three-way catalytic converters (TWC).
- Universal oil 5W-30, API SN+, ACEA C3, compatible with particulate filters (DPF) and three-way catalytic converters (TWC).
MASUMA M2 LINE
Synthetic motor oil based on VHVI or HC synthesis. Hydrocracking the base oil with hydrogen changes its molecular structure, providing performance comparable to fully synthetic PAO and esters at a lower cost.
The M2 line includes:
- Resource conserving oil 0W-20, API SN+, ILSAC GF-5 for modern gasoline engines.
- Universal oil 5W-30, API SN+, ACEA C3, compatible with particulate filters (DPF) and three-way catalytic converters (TWC).
- Full-SAPS oil 5W-40, API SN+/CF, ACEA A3/B4 for heavy-duty engines.
- Resource conserving oil 5W-30, API SP, ILSAC GF-6 for modern gasoline engines.
- Resource conserving oil 0W-30, API SN+, ILSAC GF-5 for modern gasoline engines.
- Universal oil 5W-30 API SN/CF.
MASUMA M3 LINE
Semi-synthetic motor oil with a blended base: group II mineral base oil and hydrocracking components. These are high-quality oils that meet the requirements of modern ILSAC and ACEA standards, at affordable prices.
The M3 line includes:
- Resource conserving oil 5W-30, API SN+, ILSAC GF-5 for modern gasoline engines.
- Full-SAPS oil 5W-40, API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B4 for heavy-duty engines.
- Full-SAPS oil 10W-40, API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B4 for heavy-duty engines.
MASUMA D2 LINE
Synthetic motor oil for diesel engines without particulate filters (DPF), designed to operate on fuel with high sulfur content. Hydrocracking changes the molecular structure of the oil, providing performance comparable to fully synthetic PAO and esters at a lower cost.
The D2 line includes:
- Full-SAPS oil 5W-30 API CI-4 for diesel engines.
- Full-SAPS oil 10W-40 API CI-4 for diesel engines.
